Plugenic let's you meet people on the internet with similar interests and hobbies to you, and provides a venue for you to communicate and interact over then web or your regular email! (3.0) Interactive gaming The first interactive Plugenic channel is the classic board game 'checkers'. Fun and games: checkers the first of a number of classic games. The channel is the first of a collection of traditional games which will be going online over the comming weeks. Because competing users don't need to be online at the same time, the game can be played between people of different time zones, and also between those with limited internet access. The displays depend of on the users connection, with two basic types of the game available: one for those with 'online email', that is email which can also access the internet such as Netscape(r) or Microsoft(r) web browsers among others. The other version alows users who have restricted net access, or email only connections to take part. Users can configure their game options either directly via email, or over the web, were a number of other services are also available. [-] (4.0) Channel links for listings There will be a new link for people listings which will take people direct to the user's channel. It works by automaticly logging the responder either into the user's favorite channel, or their current channel. This alows users from the web to join in an interactive game on with a user on Plugenic. They can also access the persons email address in the usual way. [-]
